You know you love a product when you write a 1209-word blog about it. 😉
Today, I’m introducing you to Claude Projects a favorite new tool in my LLM arsenal. But before we get to it let me share something important:
Building the right LLM toolkit isn’t about using every new AI tool that comes along – it’s about finding the perfect combination for your specific needs – and which tool excels at which task.
You know that moment when you realize you’re spending more time organizing your tools than actually using them? That was me, staring at my Notion database for Custom GPT development – a masterpiece of organization with 6 main categories, 20+ tasks, and enough markdown files to write a novel.
All this 👇 just to create ONE Custom GPT for my Gumroad tutorials. I mean…. it IS beautiful, right 🤩 and it worked – but at what cost in time and energy?

Then Gemini Gems came along and things became somewhat easier. Files uploaded to the knowledge base from Drive update dynamically = less clicks and a win in my books. Markdown went by the wayside too. Gems seemed to manage/reference the knowledge base without structuring my files – I’ll take it!
I do wish you could upload an entire folder to train your Gem – keeping knowledge base files current – could be further streamlined!
I use Gems for managing my clients – it only looks at files you’ve given them permission to access and information gets passed to Gemini’s brain – but it doesn’t keep any of it. 💪
The big win for using Gems to manage clients is the seamless integration with Google Workspace and the ability to use your apps in tandem. ie: I can easily “call” items from any of these tools 👇 and even create Tasks and Calendar events.
Instead of jumping between apps, you’re working in a single space where all your tools are just an @ away. (I need to clap out loud about that for a minute – brb). It just never gets old. 👏👏👏
Pro Tip: You’ll need to have extensions enabled for this.

While Gemini excels at Google Workspace integration, ChatGPT serves as my analytical powerhouse.
I use ChatGPT for:
Data Deep Dives:
- Extracting insights from Google Analytics
- Breaking down LinkedIn performance metrics
- Analyzing MemberPress membership patterns
- Processing complex sales data
Development Work:
- Writing and debugging Python scripts
- Crafting SQL queries for database management
SEO & Content Strategy:
- Optimizing blog posts for search
- Analyzing content performance
- Identifying trending topics and keywords
Strategic Research:
- Conducting detailed market research
- Performing competitor analysis
- Identifying market gaps and opportunities
What I love ChatGPT for these tasks is its ability to handle complex reasoning and multi-step analysis. When I need to dive deep into data, spot patterns, or develop strategic insights, ChatGPT’s analytical capabilities is the win or me.
Enter Claude Projects: The Empathetic LLM
As a die-hard efficiency enthusiast, I’m always looking for a better way. I’d heard good things about Claude’s writing style, and as someone who talks to AI all day, I was curious what that might look like.
You know those friends you meet for the first time and everything just clicks? You start a sentence – they finish it. Claude felt like that for me. Claude feels less robotic and more empathetic. Aligning closely with my brand = 90% less corrections + precious hours saved.
I was getting weary of robot talk. Although I had spent hours training ChatGPT to write like me I learned my writing style isn’t a static set of rules you can capture in a training document. It evolves with my mood, grows with my experiences, and changes as I do.
The Game-Changer: Visual Artifacts Made Simple
As a visual thinker colors, fonts, layout), Claude’s artifact feature is a huge favorite. When I was rebranding my business, Claude didn’t just tell me about layout options – it showed me. Complete with:
- Strategic color combinations
- Icon placement suggestions
- Layout variations
- Typography recommendations
Here’s what makes it really shine: one click to save them to memory! No hunting through menus, no multiple steps to upload – just click and it’s there for future reference. Compare that to the 4+ clicks (yes I counted) plus search time needed in other tools, and you start to see why this matters for real-world workflow.
From Technical to Practical: Making Artifacts Work for You
Let me show you exactly how this works. For my upcoming 5-Day Gmail Challenge, I started with Claude creating a layout artifact – essentially a visual blueprint. While Claude provided it in a technical format, I took that design direction and brought it to life in Canva, where I could add my brand colors, adjust the styling, and make it my own.

The transformation from Claude’s artifact to finished product shows how you can take Claude’s detailed visual thinking and implement it in tools you’re already comfortable using:
- React/HTML Components: Think of these as website layout blueprints. I use them as detailed templates to recreate designs in Canva or guide my WordPress updates.
- SVG Graphics: Clean, scalable graphics that import directly into Canva – perfect for icons and simple illustrations.
- Markdown Documents: Perfectly formatted text documents that I copy directly into WordPress for blogs and documentation.
Pro Tip: You don’t need to understand the technical details. Use these artifacts as blueprints for your preferred tools, whether that’s Canva, WordPress, or even PowerPoint.
