That’s a sentence I didn’t expect to write.

I built my reputation on ChatGPT. My LinkedIn presence, my tutorials, my early courses — it all started there. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know… I went all-in. Dozens of tutorials. Hundreds of hours. I have a Gumroad page full of them. People still buy them.

ChatGPT was my entry into generative AI. It’s how people knew me.

And then… I cancelled my subscription.

Real Talk: This Is a Values Post

I want to be clear about what this isn’t.

This is not a “Claude vs. ChatGPT vs, Gemini” post.

This is about what happens when the company behind a tool starts making choices that I can’t ignore.

Because in 25 years of running businesses and two burnouts to prove it, I’ve learned:

You have to stand for something. Or you’ll fall for anything.

The Slow Burn

It didn’t happen overnight.

There was a slow accumulation of things that didn’t sit right with me.

First, there was the drama around Sam Altman getting fired — then reinstated — by his own board in November 2023. The chaos of that moment raised real questions about who actually has control at OpenAI, and what values are guiding the ship.

Then came the political donations. Sam Altman personally donated $1 million to Donald Trump’s inauguration fund. OpenAI president Greg Brockman and his wife donated $25 million — eventually growing to $50 million — to MAGA Inc., Trump’s primary super PAC. (Sources: Brennan Center for Justice, Axios, Yahoo Finance.)

I’m not here to tell you how to vote. That’s not my lane.

But when the people running a tool you’ve built your business around start making political moves at that scale, it’s no longer just a product decision. It’s a values decision.

Then Came Tumbler Ridge

This one hit hard as a Canadian.

In February 2026, eight people were killed in a mass shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia. Most of them children.

Here’s what came out after: ChatGPT had flagged the shooter’s account eight months earlier, in June 2025 — for violent content. About a dozen OpenAI employees reviewed it. Some of them wanted to contact police.

The company said no. It didn’t meet their internal threshold for “imminent” harm.

The shooter then created a second account. (Sources: CBC News, Global News, BetaKit.)

I sat with that for a long time.

At the same time OpenAI was lobbying the Canadian government for business (while sitting on that information). The B.C. Premier called it “profoundly disturbing.” And families are now suing OpenAI.

I’m not saying this makes ChatGPT a weapon. I’m saying this told me something about the culture and the decision-making inside that company that I couldn’t unsee.

The Pentagon Situation Was The Straw

And then this happened — the straw that broke the camels back.

Anthropic — the company behind Claude — was approached by the U.S. Department of Defense. The DOD wanted unrestricted access to Claude for what they called “all lawful purposes.”

Anthropic said no.

Specifically, they drew a hard line on two things: fully autonomous weapons and mass domestic surveillance of Americans.

They said, publicly: “We cannot in good conscience accede to their request.”

The Trump administration responded by labelling Anthropic a “supply chain risk to national security” — a designation previously reserved for foreign adversaries and terrorist organizations. Never before used on an American company. (Source: CNBC, Anthropic’s own public statement.)

Anthropic lost government contracts. They are fighting this in court.

And OpenAI? They stepped right in and signed a deal with the Pentagon – in a blink.

That’s the moment it crystallized for me.

One company said: here is the line we will not cross.

The other company said: No problem! we’ll do it!

The New Yorker Feature

If you haven’t read the recent New Yorker profile on Sam Altman, You might want to check it out. It paints a picture of someone who is brilliant, driven — and playing a very long game that may not have your interests at its centre.

I’m not going to summarize it. Go read it. Draw your own conclusions.

The Uncomfortable Part

Here’s where it gets real…

Changing my position publicly — after years of building credibility as a ChatGPT expert — is uncomfortable.

People know me for that work. My tutorials are still up on Gumroad. The ChatGPT Mastery Category still live on my blog. I still stand behind the how-to in those guides. The mechanics don’t change just because I changed tools.

But I had to ask myself: if I keep using and recommending this tool, what am I implicitly endorsing?

That’s the question I couldn’t shake.

There’s a hat we wear as solopreneurs that doesn’t always fit — the “just keep going” hat. The “don’t make waves” hat. The “it’s just a tool” hat.

Sometimes that hat doesn’t fit anymore.

And the most honest thing you can do is take it off.

The Mantra That Changed Everything

There’s a quote that’s been living in my head through all of this:

“You have to stand for something. Or you’ll fall for anything.”

I’ve been a solopreneur for 25 years. I’ve burned out twice. I’ve learned — the hard way — that the tools you use, the companies you support, the decisions you make in your business all reflection of who you are.

Was this a hard post to write? Yes. Did I lose sleep over how it might land? A little. But I’d rather lose a subscriber than lose my integrity.

Talk soon. Nancy ☕

P.S. Ready to make some changes in your business — starting with the tools you use?

You. The solopreneur. The one-person show. You’re juggling everything – marketing, sales, client work, and now… becoming a “prompt engineer”?

Ugh.

You’ve been told generative AI is your new secret weapon. Your tireless intern. Your 24/7 brainstorming buddy.

But half the time, it feels like you’re talking to a well-meaning but hopelessly dense assistant. You ask for a sizzling sales page, and it gives you a lukewarm haiku. You want an email that oozes empathy, and you get something a robot would write to another robot.

The problem isn’t the AI. (Sorry, it’s not you, it’s… well, it’s kinda you.)

It’s the prompt.

But let’s be honest about how most of us really approach prompting.

We’re not using “systematic prompt optimization strategies.” We’re typing in a vague query without any real structure, crossing our fingers, and just hoping for the best.

It’s a strategy I call “prompt and pray.”

And it’s a terrible way to get things done. It’s why you’re wasting time, getting wildly inconsistent results, and failing to learn what actually works. Without any kind of version control or reusable templates, you’re stuck reinventing the wheel with every single new prompt.

This is why the pros use a framework like TCREI (Task, Context, References, Evaluate, Iterate). It’s the foundation for getting better results.

But what happens when even the framework leaves you stuck? What if your evaluation is just… “this sucks, and I don’t know why”?

What if you could stop guessing and turn your AI into your own personal prompt whisperer?

You can. It’s called meta-prompting. And it’s about to become your favorite time-saving, output-improving hack.

What the Heck is Meta-Prompting?

It’s a fancy term for a simple, game-changing idea: using AI to help you write better prompts.

Instead of tearing your hair out trying to figure out the “magic words” to get what you want, you ask the AI to help you build the prompt. You’re turning the tool back on itself.

Think of it like this: you wouldn’t build a house without a blueprint. So why are you trying to build powerful marketing assets with flimsy, half-baked prompts? Meta-prompting is how you draft the blueprint, even for your TCREI framework.

There are two main ways to do this. Let’s break ‘em down.

Part 1: When You’re Starting from Scratch (a.k.a. Prompt Generation)

You know you need something – a social media campaign, a blog post, a video script – but you don’t know where to start. The blinking cursor is mocking you.

Instead of just winging it, try these:

Strategy 1: Just Ask for It (Direct Generation)

This is the “no-duh” starting point. You’re a busy wellness coach who needs to welcome new clients to your program. Instead of fumbling around, just ask:

“Generate a prompt that could help write a warm, motivating welcome email for new clients who have just signed up for my 12-week wellness program.”

Boom. The AI will spit out a structured prompt you can then use to get the actual email written. You’ve skipped the guesswork.

Strategy 2: Ask for a Blueprint (Template Request)

Sometimes, a single prompt isn’t enough. You need a repeatable formula. You’re a course creator who wants to generate a series of engaging video lesson scripts.

Try this:

“Create a template for a gen AI prompt designed to write a 5-minute video script for a marketing course. The template should include placeholders for the lesson topic, the key takeaway, the target audience (beginner marketers), and the desired tone (encouraging and actionable).”

Now you have a fill-in-the-blanks template you can use over and over. Efficiency, unlocked.

Strategy 3: Show, Don’t Just Tell (Image & Text Prompting)

Let’s say you’re a freelance designer. You have a specific aesthetic in mind for a client’s brand, inspired by a vintage travel poster you found online. Describing it is a nightmare.

Don’t describe it. Show it.

Upload the image and write:

“Generate a prompt I can use in Midjourney to create a logo for a sustainable travel company, using the artistic style of the attached image as the primary inspiration.”

This works for text, too. Struggling to write a case study that’s as compelling as one you admire from a competitor? Feed that competitor’s case study into the AI and ask:

“Using the attached text as a reference, generate a prompt that will help me write a case study with a similar narrative flow and persuasive tone for my own web design project.”

Part 2: When Your Prompts (and Results) Are a Bit ‘Meh’ (a.k.a. Prompt Refinement)

Okay, so you’ve got a prompt. You’ve run it. And the output is… fine. It’s okay. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s not terrible.

“Fine” doesn’t grow your business.

This is where the real pros separate themselves from the amateurs. They live by a simple mantra: ABI. Always Be Iterating. They don’t just accept “fine.” They refine. They tweak. They poke the AI until it gives them gold. Let’s turn “fine” into “holy smokes, who wrote this?!”

Strategy 1: The “Make it Better” Button (Leveling Up)

This is my favorite. And it’s beautifully simple. You wrote a prompt for an ad for your Etsy shop, and the result is generic.

Go back to the AI and ask:

“This was my original prompt: [Paste your meh prompt here]. How can I change this prompt to produce social media ad copy that is more playful, uses more sensory language, and creates a stronger sense of urgency for a limited-edition product?”

You’re literally asking the AI to coach you on how to ask it better questions.

Strategy 2: The Frankenstein (Remixing)

You’ve tried three different prompts to write your ‘About Me’ page. Prompt #1 nailed your professional background. Prompt #2 captured your quirky personality. Prompt #3 had a great call-to-action. But none of them got it all right in one go.

Stop trying to smoosh the outputs together. Remix the inputs.

Paste all three of your original prompts into the chat window and write:

“Combine the three prompts below into one ‘super-prompt’ that captures the key elements of each. I need it to generate an ‘About Me’ page that includes my professional experience, my personal brand voice, and a compelling call-to-action for potential clients.”

Strategy 3: The Vibe Check (Style Swap)

Your AI is giving you facts when you want feelings. You asked for a description of your coaching method, and it gave you a technical manual. You want clients to feel the transformation, not just read the steps.

Tell it:

“Rewrite my prompt to focus less on the technical process and more on the emotional journey of the client. Use more expressive, aspirational, and benefit-driven language to describe the experience.”

You don’t have time to become a world-class prompt engineer.

And you don’t have to.

With meta-prompting, you can stop the endless cycle of trial and error. You can get the AI to do the heavy lifting, not just in creating your content, but in creating the very instructions needed to get that content right. Remember to ABI.

So next time you’re staring at that blinking cursor, don’t try to be a hero.

Ask the AI for help. It’s waiting to be your personal prompt designer. You just have to ask.

Did you know that solopreneurs and small business owners spend an average of 16 hours per week (about 3.2 hours per day) on administrative tasks? That’s two full workdays that could be dedicated to growing your business, developing new offerings, or—imagine this—actually taking time off. The right AI automation tools for solopreneurs can reclaim this time, which is exactly what I’ve done with my tech stack.

After 25+ years as a solopreneur, I’ve learned that success isn’t about working harder—it’s about building systems that work for you. Today, I’m pulling back the curtain on the 12 essential tools that form the backbone of my business at AI Advantage Consulting.

This isn’t just a list of random apps. It’s a carefully curated ecosystem where each tool plays a specific role in my business operations. Let me walk you through a typical day in my business life and show you how these tools work together to save me 20+ hours every week.

Productivity Powerhouses

Gemini in Google Workspace: My Digital Executive Assistant

At the heart of my daily operations is Google Workspace with Gemini integration—my first stop every morning.

My day begins with a simple prompt: “Scan my unread emails and list action items by priority.” Within seconds, I have a clear roadmap for the day’s communications. If you’re a solopreneur, you know there are always fires to put out, and this simple automation helps me tackle them systematically.

When drafting emails, Gemini summarizes recent correspondence, checks related files for context, and brings me up to speed instantly. It also checks my calendar and creates follow-up tasks automatically. My clients and I are saving 5+ hours per week on email management alone with this workflow.

But what I love most about the Google ecosystem is how everything works together:

Google Docs has become my repository for everything—social media posts, blog content, email templates, client communications, ++. I save it all because it might be valuable for training AI models later.

Google Sheets hosts my CRM, social media analytics, financials, and project tracking—all automatically updated by Zapier.

Google Meet transcribes my client sessions, providing a transcript, summary, and overview delivered in a single email with relevant files attached.

Google Calendar updates when I share a screenshot of event details and I can “call” it in from any app I’m working in.

Google Forms gathers client information, needs assessments, and feedback, with Zapier automating follow-ups, Sheets updates, and task creation.

Plus, I’ve created Custom Gems in Gemini for each client, trained on their preferences, journey, projects, and communication style.

ChatGPT: My Strategic Partner

While Gemini handles my daily operations, ChatGPT is my go-to strategic partner. I turn to it for in-depth research, data analysis, code debugging, and deep reasoning.

My workhorse Custom GPTs live here—specialized tools for creating code, analyzing social media and Google Analytics, managing my membership site, and supporting the tutorials I offer on Gumroad.

ChatGPT is also my research assistant. Remember when we used Google for quick answers? That’s how I use ChatGPT now, but with more nuanced and comprehensive responses.

Zapier: The Invisible Automator

If there’s one tool I couldn’t live without, it’s Zapier—the glue that keeps my tech stack together. It makes all my apps talk to each other and automates tasks in real time while I sleep.

When a client books a session through Calendly, Zapier automatically:

Updates my CRM in Google Sheets

Creates a welcome sequence in Gmail

Adds a task to my task list

Triggers a Google Form for intake information

Adds the client to my email list

Without Zapier, I’d need a team of assistants to manage these workflows. Instead, I’ve built automated systems that run seamlessly in the background.

Creativity Catalysts

Canva: My Design Powerhouse

People tell me they could spot my content from the moon, and I have Canva to thank for that. From brand kits to templates to a jam-packed “Magic Studio” filled with AI tools, Canva makes being creative both easy and fun.

I can now remove a background with a single click—a task I still remember doing pixel-by-pixel in Photoshop. Canva has democratized design for non-designers like me, allowing me to create professional-looking assets in minutes instead of hours.

Claude: My Creative Partner and Project Manager

Claude has become my creative partner and project manager. It’s trained on my brand voice, brand kit, mission statement, and ideal client profile—it knows my business inside and out.

What sets Claude apart for me is it’s writing style. If I have a particularly difficult email to write, I turn to Claude every time. It has streamlined my creative process by helping me write social media posts, blogs, website copy, and creating visual artifacts I use as reference designs in Canva.

The result? I’ve reduced my time on content creation by 65% with inspiration from Claude.

Midjourney: My Creative Inspiration

While I’m still exploring Midjourney’s full potential, my favorite use case is studying the work of other creators for inspiration. I primarily use Midjourney for my blog creatives, translating concepts into visual inspiration that I can then recreate in Canva.

If I had to live without one of my subscriptions, this would probably be the one—but for creative inspiration, it still earns its place in my stack.

Client Management Masters

Calendly: The First Impression Maker

Calendly is the tool I never knew I needed and now can’t live without. With automated sequences, email and text reminders, and easy integration with my other tools, it creates a seamless booking experience for my clients.

I trust Calendly to create that crucial first impression in my client journey. Integrated with Zapier, it updates my CRM, adds tasks, triggers forms, and more—reducing my time on client onboarding by over 70%.

Notion: The Client Command Center

Notion is where my clients live in their custom client portals. I’ve built each client a command center with everything they need to succeed, organized for easy access.

I love Notion for organizing information—documents, images, tutorials, databases, dashboards, and more. It creates a professional, organized experience for clients while making it easy for me to manage and update their resources.

Loom: The Training Companion

For training videos and walkthroughs in my Automation Genius program, Loom is my go-to tool. It’s easy to use, easy to edit, and easy to share—all essential qualities when creating educational content.

Loom allows me to create personalized video feedback and tutorials for clients, adding a personal touch to my digital services.

WordPress Ecosystem: My Website Automation Hub

The final three tools power my WordPress website. Instead of building on rented land with third-party platforms, I’ve invested in owning my digital home—a decision that pays dividends in both control and long-term cost savings:

AutomatorWP: Like Zapier for WordPress, it makes all my plugins talk to each other, saving time and money through no-code automation.

MailPoet: Manages my subscriber list and makes designing eye-catching emails easy with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. With best-in-class delivery rates and built-in SMTP, setup was a breeze.

MemberPress: Powers my upcoming Members portal (coming soon!). I’ve been asked for years to provide cohorts and a dedicated community. This will allow me to collect payments and easily set up subscription tiers while keeping my community in one place.

Building Your Own Tech Stack

The beauty of today’s AI and automation landscape is that you don’t need to adopt all these tools at once. Start with the areas where you’re spending the most time or experiencing the most frustration.

For most solopreneurs, I recommend starting with these three fundamental tools:

Google Workspace with Gemini: To streamline your daily operations and communications Is Google Workspace right for your solopreneur business?

Zapier: To connect your tools and automate repetitive tasks

Canva: To create professional-looking visuals without design skills

From there, you can expand based on your specific business needs.

The Real ROI of Automation

The return on investment from my tech stack isn’t just measured in time saved—though reclaiming 20+ hours per week is certainly significant. The real value comes from:

Reduced mental load: No more keeping track of follow-ups, deadlines, or client details in my head

Consistent client experience: Every client receives the same high-quality experience, regardless of how busy I am

Scalable business model: I can take on more clients without proportionally increasing my workload

Work-life boundaries: Automation helps me create clear boundaries between business and personal time

Most importantly, these tools have allowed me to focus on what I do best: helping solopreneurs transform their businesses through intelligent automation.

Ready to Build Your Own Automation Ecosystem?

If you’re ready to reclaim your time and build a more efficient business, I’d love to help. My Automation Genius program is designed specifically for solopreneurs who want to cut their administrative time in half and build systems that scale.

Book a free consultation to discover which automation solutions would have the biggest impact on your business. Your kitchen table breakthrough is waiting.

You know you love a product when you write a 1209-word blog about it. 😉

Today, I’m introducing you to Claude Projects a favorite new tool in my LLM arsenal. But before we get to it let me share something important:

Building the right LLM toolkit isn’t about using every new AI tool that comes along – it’s about finding the perfect combination for your specific needs – and which tool excels at which task.

You know that moment when you realize you’re spending more time organizing your tools than actually using them? That was me, staring at my Notion database for Custom GPT development – a masterpiece of organization with 6 main categories, 20+ tasks, and enough markdown files to write a novel.

All this 👇 just to create ONE Custom GPT for my Gumroad tutorials. I mean…. it IS beautiful, right 🤩 and it worked – but at what cost in time and energy?

Then Gemini Gems came along and things became somewhat easier. Files uploaded to the knowledge base from Drive update dynamically = less clicks and a win in my books. Markdown went by the wayside too. Gems seemed to manage/reference the knowledge base without structuring my files – I’ll take it!

I do wish you could upload an entire folder to train your Gem – keeping knowledge base files current – could be further streamlined!

I use Gems for managing my clients – it only looks at files you’ve given them permission to access and information gets passed to Gemini’s brain – but it doesn’t keep any of it. 💪

The big win for using Gems to manage clients is the seamless integration with Google Workspace and the ability to use your apps in tandem. ie: I can easily “call” items from any of these tools 👇 and even create Tasks and Calendar events.

Instead of jumping between apps, you’re working in a single space where all your tools are just an @ away. (I need to clap out loud about that for a minute – brb). It just never gets old. 👏👏👏

Pro Tip: You’ll need to have extensions enabled for this.

While Gemini excels at Google Workspace integration, ChatGPT serves as my analytical powerhouse.

I use ChatGPT for:

Data Deep Dives:

Extracting insights from Google Analytics

Breaking down LinkedIn performance metrics

Analyzing MemberPress membership patterns

Processing complex sales data

Development Work:

Writing and debugging Python scripts

Crafting SQL queries for database management

SEO & Content Strategy:

Optimizing blog posts for search

Analyzing content performance

Identifying trending topics and keywords

Strategic Research:

Conducting detailed market research

Performing competitor analysis

Identifying market gaps and opportunities

What I love ChatGPT for these tasks is its ability to handle complex reasoning and multi-step analysis. When I need to dive deep into data, spot patterns, or develop strategic insights, ChatGPT’s analytical capabilities is the win or me.

Enter Claude Projects: The Empathetic LLM

As a die-hard efficiency enthusiast, I’m always looking for a better way. I’d heard good things about Claude’s writing style, and as someone who talks to AI all day, I was curious what that might look like.

You know those friends you meet for the first time and everything just clicks? You start a sentence – they finish it. Claude felt like that for me. Claude feels less robotic and more empathetic. Aligning closely with my brand = 90% less corrections + precious hours saved.

I was getting weary of robot talk. Although I had spent hours training ChatGPT to write like me I learned my writing style isn’t a static set of rules you can capture in a training document. It evolves with my mood, grows with my experiences, and changes as I do.

The Game-Changer: Visual Artifacts Made Simple

As a visual thinker colors, fonts, layout), Claude’s artifact feature is a huge favorite. When I was rebranding my business, Claude didn’t just tell me about layout options – it showed me. Complete with:

Strategic color combinations

Icon placement suggestions

Layout variations

Typography recommendations

Here’s what makes it really shine: one click to save them to memory! No hunting through menus, no multiple steps to upload – just click and it’s there for future reference. Compare that to the 4+ clicks (yes I counted) plus search time needed in other tools, and you start to see why this matters for real-world workflow.

From Technical to Practical: Making Artifacts Work for You

Let me show you exactly how this works. For my upcoming 5-Day Gmail Challenge, I started with Claude creating a layout artifact – essentially a visual blueprint. While Claude provided it in a technical format, I took that design direction and brought it to life in Canva, where I could add my brand colors, adjust the styling, and make it my own.

The transformation from Claude’s artifact to finished product shows how you can take Claude’s detailed visual thinking and implement it in tools you’re already comfortable using:

React/HTML Components: Think of these as website layout blueprints. I use them as detailed templates to recreate designs in Canva or guide my WordPress updates.

SVG Graphics: Clean, scalable graphics that import directly into Canva – perfect for icons and simple illustrations.

Markdown Documents: Perfectly formatted text documents that I copy directly into WordPress for blogs and documentation.

Pro Tip: You don’t need to understand the technical details. Use these artifacts as blueprints for your preferred tools, whether that’s Canva, WordPress, or even PowerPoint.

What This Means For Your Business

Being efficient isn’t about using the newest tools. It’s about using the right tools for the right jobs.

My LLM Toolkit:

Gemini: Admin automation and Google Workspace integration

ChatGPT: Strategy, data analysis, complex reasoning, and task-specific GPTs

Claude: Ideating, writing, design and layout, and project management

The Bottom Line

After 25+ years of building systems and trying too many tools to count – I’ve learned that the best solutions are often the ones that feel effortless. Claude Projects is one of those tools.

The beauty of today’s LLM landscape is that each model has its own unique strengths. Gemini excels at admin tasks and Google Workspace integration. ChatGPT shines in data analysis and complex reasoning – while Claude stands out for its natural writing and project management capabilities. Remember: the key isn’t to find the “best” LLM – it’s to discover which ones align with your workflow and complement your business needs.

Creating high-quality, consistent content across platforms is a demanding task – especially for solopreneurs. Managing multiple formats, tools, and audiences can quickly become overwhelming.

I’ve found a better way with automation. It helps me streamline the content creation process – saving me time on repetitive tasks – and ensuring relevant, accurate analysis.

Let me walk you through my automated content workflow. It’s perfect whether you’re flying solo, running a small business, or even part of a marketing team. Psst – there’s a TL;DR at the bottom.

Why Automate Your Content Creation Workflow?

Let’s face it – content creation is more than just writing. It’s research, organization, formatting, and strategy. Here’s what automation did for me:

Saved me hours each week (hello, more time in my zone of genius)

Kept my messaging consistent everywhere

Gave me space to actually be creative

My workflow is broken down into five key stages, each powered by automation to keep everything organized and efficient.

1. Idea Generation – Never Run Out of Ideas Again

My secret weapon? A combination of smart tools:

Tools Used: Google Alerts, Google Analytics, Zapier, Perplexity Research, Siri

Google Alerts keeps me in the loop with industry news

Audience engagement data tells me what actually works by automatically feeding insights from Google Analytics into my Notion Content OS via Zapier.

Perplexity Research digs deep and saves everything to Google Drive

Siri captures my random bursts of inspiration and saves directly to my Notion Content OS.

2. My Content Command Centre

Everything lives in Notion (my Content OS) – my digital brain. Here’s why it’s SO special.

Tool Used: Notion, Custom GPT, Zapier

Content OS: Think of Notion as my content command center. It’s where all my ideas, research notes, posts – and what my audience is saying – all under one roof.

Automated Feedback Loop: With Zapier, engagement data is automatically gathered and fed into Notion. Everything’s connected, so I can easily spot patterns.

Custom GPT: Trained on my ideal customer profile (ICP) and preferred formats. (see formats below). Psst – everything you need to know about Custom GPTs.

3. Templates & Content Development – Keeping it On-Brand

Visual consistency is key. Here’s how I nail it:

Tools Used: Canva (for template design), Custom GPT (for initial drafts)

Templates for Specific Formats: I have pre-designed templates for each content type, such as tutorial carousels, ICP carousels, single posts, and videos. This keeps my content visually aligned across platforms.

Custom GPT: My GPT is set up to adapt content to fit each template, which speeds up the process and ensures that each piece is ready for publishing without additional formatting.

4. Publishing & Scheduling – Post Like a Pro

Tool Used: Buffer

Multi-Platform Scheduling: With Buffer I can set specific times and dates for each post, making adjustments per platform.

Batch Scheduling: Think sweatpants, tea and lazy-boys. I set Friday afternoon aside for content creation and look forward to this time all week. I enjoy it so much it feels like I’m skipping off early! I’ve scheduled an entire month of fresh and stellar content while in my zone of genius.

5. Content Refresh & Repurpose – Make Your Best Content Work Harder

Process: I automatically tag posts with high engagement (page views, click-through rates, conversions) in my “Repurpose Queue” within Notion. Google Analytics provides real-time performance data, which Zapier pulls into my Content OS.

Why start from scratch when your existing content can do more? I:

Tag high-performing posts for future updates

Refresh old favorites with new insights

Keep my best content working for me long-term

TL;DR

Here’s how everything flows in my content creation workflow:

Idea Generation feeds relevant topics into Content Management & Automation within Notion, where content is organized and prioritized.

Outside of Notion, Custom GPTs generate draft content and suggest ideas tailored to my ideal customer profile and format. These drafts are then refined and aligned with templates for consistent branding.

Once finalized, completed content moves to Publishing & Scheduling with Buffer, where it’s queued for posting.

Finally, high-performing posts are tagged within Notion for the Content Refresh & Repurpose stage, ensuring valuable content is easily accessible for future updates and repurposing.

It’s like having a content creation machine that just… works.

Want Content Creation to Feel Effortless? Let’s Make It Happen!

You know what’s better than having an amazing content system? Building one for others!

Here’s What Knocks My Socks Off

I love watching clients go from feeling overwhelmed to in the zone, managing their content like pros. No more laying in bed staring at the ceiling and stressing about what to post this week!

What Working Together Looks Like

When we team up, you get:

Your very own Notion client portal (think of it as your content command center!)

A custom Content OS built just for you and your unique needs

A system that grows with your business (no outgrowing this bad boy!)

The Best Part?

We’ll look at the tools you already use and love, your unique ICP, and your goals to create something that feels as unique as you are. No one-size-fits-all box here!

This Isn’t Just Another Template

Think of it as your forever content home. Once we set it up together, it’s all yours! You’ll have a system that:

Runs like clockwork (even when you’re on vacation)

Makes content creation feel fun, not overwhelming

Keeps working for you long after our collaboration ends

Ready to Make Content Creation Fun?

Let’s chat about turning your content creation process around. It might be the best investment you make this year!

Hey there! Are you ready to transform the way your Custom GPTs work? Yes? I’ve got a secret weapon for you, then. And it’s all about structuring your data. Trust me, it will save you time in the long run.

Why Bother with Structured Data?

Imagine you’re trying to build a puzzle. Would you start with the pieces jumbled up in a box, or would you prefer them sorted by color and edge pieces separated? Structuring your data for custom GPTs is like organizing those puzzle pieces. It sets you up for success from the get-go.

The Magic Formula: Structured Data In = Structured Data Out

Because… custom GPTs are only as good as what you feed them. Feed them a mess, and you’ll be disappointed. Feed them structured, clean data, and enjoy more predictable outcomes. It’s not rocket science—it’s just smart preparation.

Step-by-Step: Structuring Like a Pro

Start Simple (Markdown is Your Friend) – Markdown is the unsung hero of data structuring. Use it to create headings, lists, and emphasize key points. It’s like putting up signposts for your GPT—super helpful.

Clean Up Your Act (Data Cleanliness is Next to Godliness) – Typos? Syntax errors? Broken links? Get rid of them. Clean data means a smoother ride for everyone involved.

Diversify (Variety is the Spice of Life) – Don’t just stick to one type of data. Mix it up! Sales calls, social media feedback, newsletters… the more varied your data, the richer the insights your GPT can offer.

Keep It Short and Sweet – Long documents can be overwhelming. Break them down into bite-sized pieces. It makes it easier for your GPT to digest and learn from.

Consistency is Key – Whether it’s formatting product descriptions or setting up data tables, stick to a format. It helps your GPT recognize patterns and make connections faster.

Why This Matters (Beyond Saving You Time)

Structured data doesn’t just cut down on troubleshooting time (though it does a fantastic job at that). It ensures your GPT can easily parse, understand, and generate content. This means more predictable, accurate outcomes. Who doesn’t want that?

But Wait, There’s More!

Incorporating feedback, maintaining version control, and evaluating your GPT’s performance are all part of the journey. It’s about building, iterating, and improving.

The Bottom Line

Structuring data for your custom GPTs might seem like a chore, but it’s the foundation of everything great that follows. It’s not just helpful; it’s crucial.

So, what are you waiting for? Dive into the world of structured data, and see your custom GPT projects soar. You’ve got this, and I’m here cheering you on every step of the way! Full tutorial here.

Introduction:

In the boundless cosmos of artificial intelligence (AI), stars like ChatGPT-4 – with its magic ability to turn raw data into actionable insights – shine bright. But the pathway to leveraging these technologies isn’t without serious risk – especially when dealing with sensitive or proprietary data.

As AI enthusiasts venturing into the AI galaxy, ensuring the confidentiality and anonymity of data is as critical as the insights you’re anxious to reveal. Introducing data anonymization – like a celestial compass pointing us toward a route that safeguards privacy – but still allowing us to venture into the realms of GPT-4’s Advanced Data Analysis (ADA) safely.

Data anonymization is like a silent guardian standing between sensitive data and privacy invaders. It’s the key that unlocks the seemingly limitless potential of AI, providing a secure channel for data transit, ensuring both regulatory compliance and privacy preservation.

Cosmic Camouflage – Data Masking or Tokenization:
Think of data masking as the ultimate game of intergalactic hide and seek. You take a piece of sensitive data—say, a customer’s name—and swap it out for an alias. It’s like giving ‘Nancy Bain’ a pseudonym so she can travel incognito across the data universe as ‘Alicia Clark’. Pretty neat, right? It keeps the form without any of the personal data baggage. Ideal for when you need to send data out into the world but want to keep the real treasures tucked away.

Secret Handshakes of the Digital Realm – Data Encryption:
Data encryption is like teaching your data a secret handshake. Only those in the know, with the secret key or password, get a nod back. It’s the digital equivalent of a high-tech, unbreakable safe. Whether we’re talking dollars and cents, health records, or the next big marketing campaign, encryption is your go-to guardian. Especially handy if you’re sending data out on the risky roads of the internet or stashing it away for a digital hibernation.

The Great Data Vanishing Act – Data Deletion:
Data deletion is exactly what it sounds like—making data disappear as if it’s been zapped by a ray gun. Zap! And just like that, any piece of sensitive info you don’t need for your analysis is gone. Why let that column of social security numbers hang around like a liability? Delete it and sleep better knowing there’s no chance of it falling into the wrong hands.

Conjuring Data Doppelgangers – Synthetic Data Generation:
Lastly, synthetic data generation is like being a data wizard. You wave your algorithmic wand, and voilà, you create a statistical twin of your original dataset—minus any real personal details. It’s all the fun of the original with none of the privacy concerns. Use it to train your models, test your systems, and explore data-driven decisions without any real-world risk. It’s like having a sandbox universe where the data plays by your rules.

While I’ve outlined 4 ways to anonymize data – my preferred toolkit for managing and analyzing data is Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and a constellation of open-source packages. I advise against using GPT-4 for Advanced Data Analysis (ADA) with sensitive company or personal data unless it has been thoroughly sanitized of private information. For organizations looking to harness the power of GPT-4 while and feel confident about privacy standards, the Enterprise version is the ideal solution, offering enterprise-grade security.

Consider Ethics and Viability:

Respect for Privacy:

Anonymizing data isn’t just a technical project, it’s an ethical obligation to respect individuals’ privacy. It’s crucial to strike a balance between data utility and privacy.

Legal Compliance:

Laws like PIPEDA have set the stage for data protection. Compliance with these legal frameworks is not optional; it’s a mandate that comes with hefty penalties.

Informed Consent:

If data is collected from individuals, they should be fully informed about how their data will be used, and consent should be obtained. Transparency is the key to trust.

Data Minimization:

Collect and process only the data that is absolutely necessary. This principle minimizes the risks associated with data handling.

Accountability:

Being accountable for how data is handled, anonymized, and used is a hallmark of ethical practices. It fosters trust and ensures a level of responsibility.

Transparency with Stakeholders:

Being open about how data is being handled, what anonymization techniques are being used, and the purposes for which data is being used is crucial. It’s a part of ethical disclosure to stakeholders.

Continuous Monitoring and Auditing:

Anonymization isn’t a one-time activity. Continuous monitoring and auditing are essential to ensure that the anonymization methods remain effective over time.

Privacy by Design:

Integrating privacy into the very design of projects from the outset is a proactive approach. It’s about creating a culture of privacy that permeates every level of work.

At each phase of your AI and data analytics projects, these ethical considerations ensure your brand’s integrity remains untarnished in the digital realm. They are the compass that ensures your voyage through the data universe is not only innovative but honorable.

Engage with the Cosmic Navigator:

Need a cosmic navigator to guide you through the realms of data anonymization? I, your Captain at AI Advantage Consulting, am here to help you navigate ethically.

With a sprinkle of Python prowess, I’ll help you:

Embark on a Cosmic Analysis: Together, we’ll unearth the stellar insights buried within your data, steering clear of the black holes of non-compliance.

Greetings, fellow cosmic explorers,

It’s time for another starlit journey through the vast expanse of the AI cosmos, with yours truly, Captain Nancy, at the helm of the starship AI Advantage Consulting. Today, we’re going to uncover the newest treasure that OpenAI has bestowed upon us: Custom Instructions for ChatGPT!

This shiny new feature is like upgrading your spaceship with a hyper-intelligent autopilot, designed to navigate the cosmos exactly as you would, carrying the essence of your personal touch in every maneuver. Custom Instructions for ChatGPT is the latest quantum leap in our journey, offering an unprecedented level of control and personalization in our AI-guided adventures.

In our previous adventures, we’ve navigated the OpenAI Playground’s ‘System’ feature, a tool that directs individual AI interactions much like a map guides a space traveler. However, the new ‘Custom Instructions’ feature acts more like a comprehensive star chart, maintaining your preferred tone, style, and approach across multiple AI engagements. In essence, it’s a finely-tuned autopilot for all your AI conversations. From transient maps to persistent star charts, AI guidance has taken a monumental leap forward.

The Power of Custom Instructions

Our starship’s onboard AI, ChatGPT, now has the ability to retain your preferences and apply them to all future conversations. Imagine setting your spaceship to always maintain the right orbital speed or aligning its course to your favorite constellation – that’s what this feature brings to your AI interactions.

Plugins and Instructions

The excitement doesn’t stop there! The integration of these instructions can also elevate your experience with plugins. Let’s visualize this with a scenario: Say, you’ve set your home base location in the instructions, and you’re using a plugin that helps you dock your spaceship for a cosmic dinner. Now, the model will automatically suggest docking stations near your home base!

How to Launch Your Custom Instructions

Ready for liftoff? Follow the stardust trail:

Web navigators: Click on your avatar → Settings → Beta features → opt into Custom instructions. You’ll find Custom Instructions appearing in the drop-down menu under your avatar.

iOS astronauts: Go to Settings → New Features → switch on Custom instructions. The Custom instructions will be waiting in your settings.

Use Cases in the AI Cosmos

Think of Custom Instructions as the North Star guiding your AI journey. Here are 10 use cases to let this star shine:

Expertise calibration: You can set your level of expertise in specific fields, so the AI doesn’t lose you in tech jargon or oversimplify things.

Writing style personalization: Here at AI Advantage Consulting, we’ve set our instructions to maintain our signature “cosmic flair” style, ensuring every AI-generated content remains consistent with our brand voice.
